MIRROR ON THE WALL

What do you see when you look in to your own reflection? When you see the image of yourself staring back at you, how do you react to what you see? Satisfied with being who you are on a day to day basis is almost too easy. If that were actually true, we wouldn’t be driving ourselves insane over questions and the uncertainty that life throws around. Look at the representation of who you are, are you stopping yourself dead in your own tracks in amazement of the person you are? Confusion or fear is where you need to ask yourself and look closer. Human beings are like stones waiting to be carved; for example, Renaissance artist Michelangelo sculpted his work rhythmically to “free” the human inside the block of stone. We shape ourselves with the experience lived, creating our own statues. Statues of ourselves that are admirable in ways that aren’t even completed but the beauty is there. The things you still see desirable in yourself have yet to be created. Don’t leave your work unfinished, envision and manifest. You are a prospect in hindsight waiting to be built.  Don’t hesitate to look for the right resources, find the chisel and the hammer because there’s always more to learn.  If you could imagine yourself someplace from here forward, take into consideration the perspective of people who will want to establish their own statue after applauding your own.  A small detail in your own inspiration could lead someone into a lifetime of motivation.
