Behind The Song "Sorry Not Sorry"

The song “Sorry Not Sorry” is a song I wrote for a friend, it’s about two different types of people. The first girl that the song portrays is a girl who’s for the fast life, always looking for an opportunity and doesn’t care who she steps on. She’s all about the gain and the money and she’s self absorbed. She has no intention of helping anyone but herself. The second girl illustrated in the song, is the heavy hitter, the rock, the one who is always solid. The one who deserves everything the first girl is chasing because she works hard for it. She’s the kind of friend that is independent, strong and creative. So This song was mostly just to have fun and create this dope vibe that everyone can kind of bop to, it doesn’t have to be too serious. “Sorry Not Sorry” is about not apologizing for who you are and living as your authentic self. Never settling for fake friends and building with those around us for the bigger picture, a reminder to have fun while doing it!
